We understand that choosing a car storage company is an important decision. That’s why we’ve created this FAQ section – to provide clear and honest answers to the questions we’re most often asked. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just get in touch. We’re happy to help!

How long has Jordans been in business?

Jordans has been storing cars for customers for over 20 years. Marc and his team of highly experienced staff offer a friendly, personal and professional service to their clients, many of which have been storing their cars with Jordans for years.

Where are you located?

We are discreetly located on a private manor estate in the village of Cranleigh, amid the rolling hills of Surrey. We are in easy reach of London, Guildford, Heathrow and Gatwick.

What type of vehicles do you store?

We store classic cars, supercars and everyday family cars. We also have a few clients who store their motorcycles with us. Unfortunately, we do not have the space to store motorhomes and caravans.

Is there a minimum period I need to store my car for?

Yes, the minimum period is 3 months.

What is the security like at Jordans?

Our 5-star facility is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have an insurance approved security system which includes full CCTV and fire detection.

Will my vehicle be fully insured whilst being stored with you?

Yes, we provide fully comprehensive insurance cover whilst your car is in our custody. This also includes when we are transporting your car.

When can I bring my car in?

We ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice and you can drop your car off anytime, seven days a week.

What process will you go through when I drop my car off?

Upon arrival we will give your car a full inspection before a thorough valeting. It is then connected to a battery conditioner in our clean, secure, indoor warehouse. We monitor your car regularly whilst it is in our care.

How much notice do I need to give before I can pick my car up?

We ask for a minimum of 48 hours’ notice and your car can be made available any time, seven days a week.

Can I leave an alternative car with you when I pick up my car?

Yes, you are paying for the space, so you can leave an alternative car with us when you collect your vehicle.

Can I store my car with you if I live abroad?

Yes, you can. As part of our service, we offer our overseas customers the option to have their car delivered to the airport when they arrive in the UK. We can then collect their car from the airport when they depart and bring it back to our storage facility.

Is it possible to arrive at Jordans in a helicopter?

Yes, we have a helicopter landing pad here for clients to use when they arrive to collect their car. We are also conveniently located near Dunsfold Aerodrome if you want to arrive or depart on a private jet.

Can I store my car with you if it no longer starts?

Yes, we have a few cars in storage that are restoration projects.

How much notice do I need to give if I want to leave?

We ask for one month’s notice in writing.

What other services do you offer?

We provide a range of maintenance services including nearby MOT testing and body work.

How much do you charge?

We charge £70 a week, plus VAT. This price includes regular maintenance checks, connection to a battery conditioner, tyre pressure monitoring and fluid level checks; fully comprehensive insurance; and a full valet on arrival and departure.

Can I come and have a look at your facility before deciding?

Yes, absolutely. Just email us or give us a ring and we can schedule a visit.

Why are you not on any social media platforms?

We are not on social media, as we pride ourselves on being one of the few storage companies that are discreet and respect their clients’ privacy.

Can I use my own car cover?

Yes, you can, however the majority of our clients choose not to as our facility is very clean, please see the Gallery page for photos.

They understand the needs of the owner and provide a first class environment for vehicles.
